My computer is infected with winfixer/malware/spyware and I think I traced it from winfixer to ebay. I went through your steps for removing it, but it only said it partially removed it which was the same thing your mcafee virus scan said but I'm still getting the same 6-7 pop-ups every 5 minutes and I just cannot get rid of them. This winfixer seems to have downloaded itself onto my computer. Also with this came three desktop items: error cleaner, spyware/malware protection, and privacy protector , but these ree items are all pop-up links to spyware related websites. As a matter of fact, all the pop-ups are related to spyware links. Except one, I had this winfixer for five days now and one day 46 pop-ups came up and all were ebay. also I got this pop-up that sets itself up as my background where it looks normal but anywhere you click its a link to a spywre website. So I did virus scan, the online technician and tried to find the program, but none worked. I have no hair left from this, please help asap!!! Even as I write this the pop-ups are showing up. AHHHHHHH!!!!!!
