Could be a faulty power switch, as yes they do go out. I think I remember some manuf. having problems with this.

You might need to have some troubleshoot this one physically. As power switches aren't expensive, but hard to download.

That's what it sounds like to me anyway. It's keeps shifting off, and throwing the system board.
