Have you added any hardware lately or were inside the PC case? Enter the bios and reset the date/time and disable the intruder alert for the chassis. Make sure your using "Auto" to detect your componets. If this is an older PC the battery could be weak or dead in which case it will lose time and/or won't keep your bios settings on the next boot.
