well i was not sure about trying benchtest without messing anything up, so i out old mobo back . i ahd misplaced some jumpers on the front panel header and was getting same response on old mobo as new one, once i realized this i changed jupers to corrects sptos, then it started it up no problem.
now after i ahd installed new mobo i tried diffrent settings for front panel header as i have 4 slots for. Hdd led, Pwr led, Pwr on, and Reset. But i only have 3 jumpers on my tower which are Hdd led, Pwr led, and Pwr s/w. i tried pwr s/w on reset and pwr on slots but neither worked.
wondering maybe i need a new tower? with all 4 jumpers, or is there an issue where emachine towers only work with there designated boards?
