If you just need Favorites / My Docs / etc., since it's a small network, I would suggest just joining the pc's to the domain. Logging in as the users once, then copying the data from the local profile (folder named "username") to the domain profile (folder named "username.domain"). This data is in "C:\Documents and Settings\"username"\* by default.
