Speedo is right on this one.... as always, but anyway you may want to look into a cable filter and amplifier... they sell them at Rad Shack for like $20, and wow is there a difference, especially if your not getting a direct route... my line is split 4 times and I still hit close to the 1.5 meg limit late at night. ( Almost everyone in this town has cable, because the DSL sucks so bad, so it kinda kills bandwidth in peak hours)
