One minute the printer was working fine and when next called on to print all the lights started flashing and it became unresponsive. Eventually the only light flashing was the power light and it refused to go out until the printer was unplugged. When turned on again it continues to blink and the carriage moves back and forth slowly without stopping until it is unplugged at the power cord.

I hate to junk this printer if it is something that can be corrected.
