post above is 100% correct your existing hard drive would be compatible
in asmuch as no hard drive on the planet has yet to achieve over 90mb/s there is no spped loss with the 150mb /s drive vs the 300 mb/s
its all a theorical speed capability / not an actual
you would need to raid four hard drives together to break 100mb/s in a sustained read & write !!
