I have inherited a Dell Latitude C810 loaded with Windows XP Pro. When I boot it up, it appears to load okay, however the windows display is narrowed down to about 3" x 5", right in the middle of the screen. The icons appear to arrange themselves so I can see some of them completely, but the number I can see is limited to what will display in the smaller space. When I click the start button, I get a message that tells me that not everything can display, and it displays the Log Off and Shut Down options. I then will get only enough of the shut down dialog box showing that I could select the drop down box and select my option. I have to hit the enter key to shut down, but I can not see the command buttons.

I hope this makes sense.
