Dell Inspiron 6400 really slow after hibernation

Hello.

I have a computer "dell inspiron 6400" (a laptop), and I have the following problem:

- I put the computer to hibernate
- I make the computer to awake
- Sometimes (30% of the times?) it becames "incredibly" slow
- Then, I must turn off the computer and then turn it on :(

Here is my system's specification:
- Processor: Intel core duo @ 1.6 GHz
- Memory: 1GB
- Operative system: Windows xp media center

I have made a diagnostic of the system using the "Intel Processor Identification Utility" and then got strange results:

- When the system is normal, it identifies the processor as:
- Name: "Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo CPU T2300 @ 1.66GHz"
- Frequency real value: 1.66GHz
- System bus frecuency real value: 667MHz

- When the system is strange, it identifies the processor as:
- Name: "Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2300 @ 1.66GHz"
- Frequency real value: 0.09GHz
- System bus frecuency real value: 64MHz (sometimes 63MHz)

As you can imagine, using the computer when it is slow is incredibly uncomfortable (see the frequency), then I must turn it off, and then on.

I have searched any related patch and have found the patch for microsoft's problem kb896256, named "Computers that are running Windows XP Service Pack 2 and that are equipped with multiple processors that support processor power management features may experience decreased performance". The name of the patch seems very useful, but the patch wasn't useful in my system.

I have a friend who has bought the same laptop (same processor and operative system) and have similar problems, then it is not an "only in the world" case.

I am awaiting for some help (i want to use hibernate normally), thank you really for reading my problem.
