Re: Viewpoint/Grokster keep reappearing

Scan Attempted: I received an error. The text of the error was "unknown error." I hit ok, but it proceeded to just declare the scan done. (Edit: This was about 75%-80% into the scan)

Here's the scan text so far. I'll try the scan again to see if I can get it to the end.

Incident Status Location

Adware:adware/azesearch Not disinfected Windows Registry
Spyware:Cookie/Apmebf Not disinfected C:\Documents and Settings\Tina\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\1qhlcu0t.default\cookies.txt[.apmebf.com/]
Spyware:Cookie/Humanclick Not disinfected C:\Documents and Settings\Tina\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\1qhlcu0t.default\cookies.txt[hc2.humanclick.com/hc/79430329]
Spyware:Cookie/Humanclick Not disinfected C:\Documents and Settings\Tina\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\1qhlcu0t.default\cookies.txt[hc2.humanclick.com/]
Potentially unwanted tool:Application/HideWindow.A Not disinfected C:\hp\bin\FondleWindow.exe
Potentially unwanted tool:Application/KillApp.B Not disinfected C:\hp\bin\KillIt.exe
Potentially unwanted tool:Application/KillApp.A Not disinfected C:\hp\bin\Terminator.exe

Also, you asked if Viewpoint and Grokster were appearing again. Viewpoint isn't showing up in Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, or in CA Pest Patrol, so that might be a good sign.

Grokster, on the other hand, showed up again in CA Pest Patrol. Along with a few friends:

Dialer HC
Trojan.RegFish.A
TryMedia

I'll try the active scan again to see if I can get it to the end, but I figured I should report what I've found so far.
