Hiya,

Please copy this page to Notepad and save to your desktop for reference as you will not have any browsers open while you are carrying out portions of these instructions.

Also be sure to carry out the instructions in the sequence listed below.

Disable Windows Defender as it may interfere with the fixes below:
  • Open Windows Defender.
  • Click on Tools, Options.
  • Scroll down and uncheck Turn on real-time protection (recommended).
  • After you uncheck this, click on the Save button and close Windows Defender.

Disable SpySweeper as it may also interfere:
  • Right click the icon in the Task Bar and select 'Exit'.

Open HijackThis and click on 'Do a System Scan Only'. 'Check' the following entries:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {3F73A45B-78CB-40ED-857F-5F87B80F37CE} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ddccy.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {66020456-CB22-487F-AC2C-09F6417C55B3} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\fccywvw.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {6F90FC0B-253E-4F9B-84EF-5FDDC987A7AF} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\pmnll.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Alcmtr] ALCMTR.EXE



Click 'Fix Checked' and close HijackThis.
