You misunderstand me Jill, I have no problem showing emotion, or even crying. It has been shown on many occasions that altruism is expressed in the female of our species far stronger than in the male, obviously making the latter a weaker candidate for having sympathy for or being able to comfort another in distress.
Whether you think these are rules that need to be broken or not, you can't deny thousands of years of evolution, both genetic and social, even if it has lead us to become a society of zombified, closed minded, naive, ignorant, self serving and self important macho gits
