Re: Laptop shuts itself down

The laptop is turning off at around high 60 c to mid 70c fan never goes on once bios is loaded though. I read around and it seems as though alot of other ppl had almost the same prob wih a21m. Their lappy would boot, fan would turn on at bios and once the bios was loaded the fan would turn off thus their laptop overheating and shutting down. Once their lappy was shut off they had to unplug power and batery. My symptoms are exactly those and the people who solved that issue said the way they solved it is by installing a new motherboard.

As a workaround i think im gonna make a power adapter for the fan and plug the fan into that. That way the fan will always be on and i dont have to replace the entire motherboard.

It says this on the fan; DC 5V O.21A . So basicly i have to get a power adapter with those specs i think. Anyone know where i could get one hat either plugs into a electricity outlet or where to get that power from the laptop itself. Also is DC 5V O.21A the max so if i put that much into it will it run fullspeed? Can i put more electricity? Any help with this would be appreciated aswell as any diffrent ideas or suggestions.

Thanx again
