Yes it is possible to fry ram with too much voltage, for typical ddr memory I would not reccomend going over 2.9V. Most mfg's only warrrenty up to 2.8V....Why, how much volts are you running your memory with ? FWIW, Corsair usually requires a bit more volts than most to get a decent OC.
