Do you have another power supply you can try? I would suggest that if you do. I suspect it is either dead or too weak to pull the rig you have. If dying, they can also be intermittent and maybe that is why it worked in the other computer.
Not too long ago (about two months), I had a power supply that had been performing fine from Antec (and they are an excellent quality) and one day it suddenly would show the light, but would not power on the computer. No other symptoms. I tried everything, but it was just a dead supply. I did get an RMA and a new supply since it was less than a year old, but my point is, that even good quality supplies can tank for no reason.
Have you tried reseating the CPU. Some times when they don't go in with the correct amount of tension on the heatsink clamp or are not slipped down and making good contact, you won't get them to do anything, so that might be worth a try. Thought I would mention that since eneles is offline for the moment. That way, you might have something to try.
