Cooling

Hi, I am in the process of upgrading my computer and getting all the parts for it. One of the main issues I am thinking about right now is cooling for my Processor. Im upgrading my motherboard, ram, hdd and processor from an AMD Athlon 64 3500+ to a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5600+
Now my friend is saying that because of my processor size I probably need to invest in Liquid Cooling. Well I don't want to pan out the money for a nice one if I don't have to. So I figure that I have 3 options and im wondering which one I should do.
1. Liquid Cooling
2. Do nothing and go with the AMD heatsink fan that came w/the new processor
3. Upgrade to a heavy duty heatsink fan

So what should I do and what would you recommend? If I should get a heavy duty heatsink fan how many RPM's would you recommend?
