ok I can get into bios now fairly often but....there are still some problems...Here they are
1. The computer WILL ONLY boot up after I switch off the power switch from the back of the power supply and switch it back on...After that it will usually boot up... if not I keep switching the power supply till it boots up Solution: I'm thinking it's the power supply...it came with my case and looks cheap but it does have 420 watts....Need your input on this
The other 2 problems come after the computer starts up
2. The computer goes through the usual checks "processor found", "1024 ram ok"...then it gets to checking usb massive storage device, It says 00 usb massive storage device found and the computer will stay at that...I was thinking maybe the power supply was still causing this problem because SOMETIMES the computer will not lock up here and continue on....
3. If it doesn't lock up it will later say Overclocking failed!...I didn't even overclock because its a new computer but I simply pressed f2 to revert it to default settings and I went on to the XP setup...
So all in all I CAN get into the XP setup but the above problems make it a pain to do so....I'm going to go get a power supply tomorrow but I want to hear your input about the three problems I have.
