A friend brought this HP laptop for me to look at. I've repaired a few towers but not a Laptop. No power at all, LED indicators on the Laptop do not light. I got a voltage reading from the AC power lead and the indicator on that is on. I've tried to gently move the power socket but without success.
Unfortunately I can't test with Battery only because he thinks it's been run low. Any pointers?
