Yep everything has been set correctly and its been running fine without any problems for months. Symptoms just starting appearing a few weeks ago. Only happens (if at all) once a week and only when the system is in standby for long periods of time. Whats a little strange is that if you do a soft reboot - without completely turning off the power the bios won't detect the keyboard. You have to completely turn off the system and reboot for a sucessful detect. Normally it works fine , press either the mouse button or keyboard button and the system will wake in about 3-5 seconds from standby. Going to try plugging a standard keyboard and mouse for a while and see if the problem still comes back - if it does will send it for replacement back to Newegg which sends you a new board once they receive the bad one - not refurbished which is a pretty decent service. Since it can't be a software issue - unless its a bios problem its either the keyboard/mouse set or the portion of the motherboard that controls the mouse/keyboard port.
