Re: HD data recovery

Hi,

There are programs that will collect all the data stored in the clusters on your hard drive, you data is never truly erased unless new files are written over the cluster that holds the information. When windows removes a program or data, it does not infact remove it, the information is still there on the hard drive awaiting to be over-written by new data though Windows disregards the information it formerly removed from its partition table.

In lehmans terms, you can retrieve any data back that has not been over-written by new data. There are many different recovery programs, though to be honest i'm not sure what is the best out there or the most reliable, hopefully someone who has used such a program in the past will come along this thread.

Regards,
Nick.
