PC:

P4 3.0GHZ HT
2GB RAM
9600XT 256 Video
2x DVD RW LG Drives
1x 250GB Sata2 Drive - 2x Paritions - C: o/s
1x 300GB Samsung IDE drive 1x Partition - Movies

Since the 2nd hdd has been put into my machine it slows down the whole system to basic grinding hault whenever I access anything on the 2nd hard drive. With having movies on it, the machine plays these movies very slowly, sometimes half the speed needed and seems to be worse with the bigger files that it plays (higher khz)

These problems are non existant when the 2nd HDD is removed.

Also takes my PC nearly three times longer to boot up from startup.

Can anyone help?
