I will try to save you alot of agony; been there done this tooooo many times


buy yourself a replacment hard drive, then clone the contents from the full drive over to the new drive

drives nowdays are cheap; for $50.00 you can easily buy a 120gig drive

no matter how much cleaning and shuffling you do, you will be back looking at this problem again soon!
