The driver set-up, which had to be done in DOS, recognized the 300GB right away, but said to set it up, it had to be formatted, so I said ok, and it seemed to take 5-7 seconds, then said "All drives will now be accessible as logical drive letters". Then it prompted me to restart, so I did, and nothing has changed. I never knew a damn hard drive could be so stressful and frustrating.
