no; your computer does not support sata natively. but if you desire to try a sata drive you could buy a Sata PCI slot controller card which will give you sata controller capabilities. A high quality sata controller card as made by Promise will cost about $35.00 to $40.00 and will be a bootable version.

There are other cheaper solutions, but I am not an advocate of such.
