Post HDD Temperature

Hi there

I have two HDD, one ST340810A [40GB, Primary Master] and the second one is ST380011A [Primary Slave, 80GB]. Recently I installed Hard Drive Inspector Pro and I find out that the temperatures are reported to be high to the warning level. As present the Temp are being reported as 49 C and 51 C. I also find that after an operation of about 1hr the temp rises to greater than 60 C for both the HDD.

I am using ATHLON XP 1800+ with 640MB DDR RAM. The machine is Compaq Pressario 3353AP and the second HDD I installed few months back.

Are these temp within safe level? If not how can I ensure that that temps remain within safe level?

Thank you.
