Hi,

First post to the forum, thanks for having me.

I have an Acer travelmate 2500, the battery appears to be on the fritz. Attached are some screenshots from Battery mon for 2 cycles where i ran the laptop on the battery letting it discharge then charged it again. There is a dramatic drop from the 90% to 10/20% charge held.

I have hardly run the laptop on the battery and have just run it on the socket power since I got it around 24 months ago. The battery has stayed in place all that time continually charging which has probably messed it up.

My question is- how do I restore the battery back to a full charge so it continues to hold the charge in an even manner?
