Ok...

You should be able to do this with the WinXP install disk SETUP.

1. Place the WinXP Install disk in the drive. If it autostarts, CLOSE IT.
   
2. Restart your computer.
   
3. Begin going through the clean install process. http://web.mit.edu/ist/products/winx...ll-format.html
4. When you get to this screen --> Choose Option 'D' and delete partitions
   
   
5. Now choose option 'C' to create new partitions...You should be able to enter the size.
6. Create your other partition.
7. Install WinXP on the partition of choice.

OK...If I remember correctly this procedure should get you going.
