I'm still having the same issues. I'm working on that Kaspersky report one item at a time and cleaning out my archives and quarantine folders as you mentioned in your last post. I'll then run through the steps again and see if things get any better. Maybe it will be easier to see where the problem by looking at what's left after I've cleaned up some of this mess.
The part that worries me is the files that are being created in my C:\Windows\Temp\ folder. The instant they're created, they're being identified (detected) as either a Worm or a Trojan. They're deleted or quarantined and immediately afterwards another one appears and is detected.
I'm considering uninstalling AntiVir as well because it continues to interfere with Norton. It was fine while my subscription was expired but now that I've purchased the latest System Works, AntiVir likes to detect things in Norton's quarantine and also deny access to a file when Norton is trying to repair or delete it after it's been detected as being infected. What do you think?
I'll get back to you with the results of the next scan. Let me know if anything I've said here looks out of line.
Thanks again,
Alex
