Thanks for your response. Little known fact about this system is 8 out of 10 people are complaining about it. Overheating being one of the issues.
I do my best to insure a repair goes smooth but sometimes things do happen and I feel that when explained to the customer they just think I am the problem. I know what I am doing and screen repair is one of the easier of the fixes on laptops. I cannot understand how the unit is totally dead, no lights at all. It is a Scooby Doo Mystery I guess.
So have you ever had to fix a power board on a unit? Do you think that or know if the power board goes will it also look as though the unit does not charge. The light for that is on the Mobo where as the unit power light is on the powerboard. Any help would be appreciated!
