Hey. I am new to this board and have a serious issue with my internet connection. I live in Atlanta GA near emory university and my internet speed is just ridiculous. I ran internet speed check on various web sites and it is barely faster than 56k. At first, I thought it was a virus or some sorts of spyware, but that wasn't the problem. When I bring my laptop to school, it is lighting fast. When I plug in the ethernet line, I have a pop up from the windows on the bottom right corner that I have 100mps connection but it runs slower than freaking 56k. What kind of problem am I having and how can I fix it?
