Hello Ried. I did have combofix and I have now deleted it. I have downloaded the new comboscan but the same thing is happening as what seems to be happening already.
In essence anything which I try to install/scan on my computer never finishes actually doing it. The little green bar goes about three quarters of the way across and then just stops. Norton done it and then jammed and now doesn't load up at all, iTunes stopped at about 80% and remained that way for over eight hours and now this is doing it. It has stopped on 79% and on the bit about the registry. If I remember correctly the other two stopped on something about the registry too - I think iTunes stopped on "Registering Modules" permanantly. When I attempt to close the applications they stop responding and then don't close, even after Ctrl-Alt-Del.
What on earth is going on
The comboscan has been stuck for half an hour now and if its the same as previous experience it won't go any further. I therefore cannot post the scan.
Help!
