Ok. i have a Dell XPS laptop. XPS laptops do not come without hi speed usb ports. I have an external hdd and a flash drive both meant for hi speed usb ports. Each time i plug each of them in, my computer informs me that these devices can perform faster if i plug them into a hi speed usb 2.0 port, click here to see available hi speed ports. I updated all my drivers, i uninstalled old drivers and installed new ones. I tried every usb port i have, and nothing has worked. When i click on the balloon to see available ports, it informs me that i have 8 available but none of the actual 6 that i have work for hi speed. Any suggestions?
