Trojan Linkoptimizer/Trojan Gromozon
Counterspy picked up this a couple of nights ago and supposedly cleans and deletes it. I reboot and it reappears. McAfee help directed me to your site. I will attempt to post the "Hijack This" log but unsure I know how.
I am running Windows XP-SP2 and am current on all definitions for Counterspy and McAfee Viruscan 10. In addition, I have tried the Ewido Malware Remover and Symantecs Linkoptimizer Removal Tool in regular and safe mode with System Restore disabled but neither program recognizes that it is present. Thanks for your help.
