umm, ok Lets see originally when you installed the new USB card did you remember to disable on-board USB in bios?, (Just starting from the beginning)
As for the keyboard, cant you just connect it to the USB port? Does it now work for some reason. If so then I guess you need one more USB>>PS2 Converter :(.
