p4p800 does not recognize video

I have an asus p4p800 board and a radeon 9500 pro video card. I have had this over a year and never had this problem. I tried to do a repair with the windows xp disk and after that it would get to the windows screen and restart. I put in another hard drive and tried to boot from it. The bios only recognized my two cd-roms not my 2 HDs. I took out the HD I just put in and the bios recognized nothing. I reset the cmos and now the monitor does not come on. It is like the monitor is not even hooked to the video card. I kept on messing with the jumper to reset the cmos and it turned on. I turned it off and hooked up my cd-roms and it does not work anymore. What is the problem?
