Hi iam new here and i been building my putors for about 8 years now but iam stuck on something .
Ok i got a Abit mainboard and 3 gig of 533 speed Ram and a 3.4 intel pross.
Ok now my pc runs good when iam not in a game but as soon as i get into a game the pross heats up and starts to beep , telling me that it is getting hot .
I stay in the game and click ms key and check the heat of it thru the main board controls that came with the mainboard.
But it starts to cool down when iam out of the game but still got it running in another window.
can some one tell me if i need a new pross. or mabe a mainboard to.
Or is there something i can do to fix this ?
I do play my games all day with this beeping going on and it never hits trush hold to shut down on its own.
Only does this in the games and nothing else!
