Windows Vista and Office Professional 2007 Installation Events Attend a local event to install Windows Vista and the 2007 Microsoft Office system with guidance from a Microsoft Partner Technology Specialist. Join Us for a Loadfest Here’s a great opportunity to get your PC running Windows Vista Ultimate and Microsoft Office Professional 2007. Bring your laptop and join us at one of the many installation events taking place worldwide. A Microsoft Partner Technology Specialist will be on hand to guide you through a successful installation of these new releases in about 45 minutes. To find a local installation event, consult the attached document. Additional cities will be added to the list as new events are finalized. Full Release and Trial Versions Available Certified and Gold Certified Partners will have the opportunity to install the full release versions of Windows Vista Ultimate and Office Professional 2007. Just bring your product identification numbers (PID). All participants will have the option of installing trial versions of Windows Vista Ultimate and Office Professional 2007. The trial version of Windows Vista will be the second release candidate (RC2) and can be used until May 31, 2007. The trial version of Office Professional 2007 can be used for 120 days, once you have obtained a trial product key. We’ll provide more details on how to set up trial software at the event. Prepare for the Event Follow these steps to prepare your laptop and have the necessary licensing information for the event. Back up your data and software before attending the event. (For optimal installation, system reformatting is required.) If you are a Certified or Gold Certified Partner, bring your product identification numbers (PID) to activate Windows Vista Ultimate and Office Professional 2007. Refer to the MSDN or TechNet disks included in the January Special Edition Partner Toolkit, or have your company’s designated Partner Program administrator access your volume licensing information so that a Partner Technical Specialist can help ensure the software is properly activated. If you do not bring PIDs to the event, you will need to enter them within 30 days to continue to use the software. Register to attend your local event (see attached document).
