Josh,

Use the Search function to find many posts on TSF that address starting your own PC business. After you've read some of these, if you have specific questions, post them here and the pro's will be glad to address them.

The key's that I have taken away from them are:

Have a plan.

Do some research on others providing this type service in your area. How much do they charge? How well are they doing? Do they have work you could do for them?

Start slow and stay with in your financial comfort level - work out of your garage, if necessary, until your client base warrants a store front location.

Network your capabilities with everyone you can.

Try for service contracts with small businesses in your area - as opposed to walk in repairs.
