BIOs detecting hard disk as slave

I just upgraded my computer, put in a new case, mobo, heatsink and power supply. I used the SATA hard drive from my old computer. Now, when I boot the new PC up, the BIOs detect it as a slave IDE drive, but it's the only hard drive I have installed.

According to my mobos user manuel, my CD drive and my DVD drive are plugged in by ribbon cable to the IDE1 Connector. Is my computer confusing my SATA drive and my CD and DVD drives? Theres only 2 places to plug a ribbon cable into on my mobo, and the other one's for a floppy drive. Are my cables configured wrong?

So how do I configure the BIOs to recognize the only SATA drive as master?
