Hi Matt

As it extracts the files it stopped and said " The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process"

I have pressed OK and it shows the installshield wizard as complete.

When I have started it up in normal mode again it has not altered anything. If I go into display properties / settings / advanced / the adapter type is VGA and all the information is unavailable. ( I don't know if this is related or not?).

Have you got anymore ideas??????
