My System

Shutting itself down...

i have a laptop and the thing has occasionally shut itself off completely. Its not the transformer or the plug connection in the back, theyre fine. but i couldnt help but notice a blue screen flash up last time this occoured which i saw 'physical memory' the screen flashed up for literally a second and i couldnt read it all, but upon noticing the memory thing i checked my specs and saw that only 198mb of my 512mb memory is available.

could this be whats causing the problem? would low memory cause it to shut down?

i had computer game 'the sims' on one time and AOL another, but it didnt seem to relate to putting them on because i had them on for a while.

any help would be lovely thanks, as i have no ideas. any way of checking if my memories are ok? a program or anything?

heard of anything like this before?

thank you x
