My bit.

OK. I'm not guna lie to you Jason although it...

NO! Whats the point of it!

A bunch will always attract another similar minded, careered or bored one. You always learn by socializing and coming across others in any field, let alone when its technical. A gold mine this is, sincerely.

YESS! Its helped heaps repeatedly, as is the reason why I continued posting since the 24/11/06 when I first came across it.. and having a broken leg is the other reason of course I'd help more if I had time, but I really push to even get on to post on any forum.
The layout and functionality is very good here, compared to most forums I've come across. The environment is even better, well spread, well split up and in fact, I'll go as far as to say its probably the best designed, maintained and co-ordinated one I've seen. I couldn't put a finger on what exactly, but it just is. The mods/techs I've come across are also more friendlier and helpful than I've experienced elsewhere: they work as a team better than at other places, fill in for each other and they share knowledge rather than posses it solely. You can see how it rubs off onto visitors, members, other techs and mods as well.

You didn't get confused with my first 2 sentences did ya?

One matter I'd say would be much better is if "some" posters stopped making the support area's as their blogging session or basically using the quick reply for a IM chit chatter to jot down anything that makes its way into there minds (OT), on an open to all and technical support forum. It puts others off from helping or taking part, learning, understanding whats going on, getting technically enthusiastic, let alone anyone else (non-member or member) reading will just get sick/bored of it and will probably never read it or be able to discover the solution to their problem/s. It also looks bad on the forum to a visitor and sets bad standards elsewhere too. A little is fine obviously but post after post of crypted unrelated/personal discourses and blogs, really.
...This should be in comments//suggestions I know!

Thanks. You're doing a wonderful job.

Zazula, well done with the review. Precise. (your nick means something quite funny in an asian language if you didn't already know )
