granted I am for the most part Republican. but, I vote for the person that i think is right for the job.
one of the things that i have heard time and time again is "if we get a democrat prez he will clean up the things that bush screwed up" and other things like that. here's the reality of politics-- politics can be likened to a single person pushing on a fully loaded 18 wheeler. He is going to move it but only a little bit before he can't push any more. now is that amount measureable? yes. is that amount large? no. does that amount count for anything? hardly. there are things that bush has put into effect that we won't see the results of for 4 to 8 years or more. likewise there are things that clinton put into effect that we didn't see the result of until bush's administration. and likewise w/ daddy bush. and reagan and carter and so forth and so on. one thing that clinton did that we saw the effect of during Bush's admin was the release of a known terrorist from isreal. that terrorist was one of the pilots on 9/11/01. you won't find that on MSNBC or CNN or ABC or any others. can't have a past prez look bad.
