Hello Susan and thank you one more time for helping me clean my computer.
1. I reset the System Restore.
2. I have my Kaspesrky antivirus setting to update automatically - I hope this is OK.
3. I have my Windows Update setting to automatic - I hope this is OK too. I also checked manually to be sure, and it said there are no other updates for me.
4. I saw what you said about AdAware, but I believe I have it already installed. Updated that, also.
5. I installed Spyware Blaster like you told me and updated and now it is running.
6. About Java, I followed the link you gave me, but it didn't take me to the 10 Update for 5 JRE - it took me to 6 JRE (and some other stuff for developers), so I thought version six must be better than five, and I uninstalled my old Java and I installed the six instead.
7. Sorry that I repeat the same question, but I am still concerned if I have done the right steps in the right way or not. I don't know of course how to read the hjt log, but it mentions somewhere Zone Alarm (I thought I had taken that away), and in other places it says "file missing". Are all these ok?
