First of all Susan (again thanx, btw) you didn't tell me where to find this AVG Anti-Spyware. Was this supposed to be already in my computer? Anyhow, I didn't know if this was wrong or not, but I searched the forum and I found a recent thread with instructions to download this AVG A-S and followed these instructions and I ran it as you told me. I had these problems:
- When I was in Safe Mode, the program screen was much bigger than my computer screen, and I couldn't change my computer screen resolution to fit more in there. So, I do not know if all checkboxes were ticked in these areas: How to scan & Possibly unwanted software. Is there a way to know if this program ran like it was supposed to do?
- For the tracking cookies I could not choose quarantine, only delete.
- At the end, you asked the Ewido log, not this AVG stuff. So I thought I have to download this Ewido also. I searched again the forum but in a recent thread I read Ewido is now owned by AVG and that they are pretty much the same thing, so I did not search any more for Ewido and here is the AVG A-S log:
