(Note: I'm currently posting from my girlfriend's laptop, here in the same room as mine.)
I've successfully booted into Normal Mode, I ran Hijack This again and as I got online (from my laptop) to post the log here, errorsafe.com hijacked my browser and tried to scan my registry for inconsistencies. I followed your steps perfectly, when it came time to delete those files at the end, NITEAIM.EXE and aolserviceshosts.exe didn't show up at the specified locations or after a search, so I assumed the work done in Hijack This took care of it. I deleted the Viewpoint folder myself.
Anyway, I'm sitting in Normal Mode right now, I'm online, and I'm trying to bring up my task manager but something is taking up my CPU so badly that I can't get it to open.
(EDIT: It finally opened and Internet Explorer is using all my resources.)
Thank you very much for your help thus far, friend.
