Thanks Mike. If your sure of what you saw there then yes, you've certainly got a bad PSU.

I suggest to download and run Sensors View if you can and it will tell you all the temperatures, speeds and voltages in real time, just to be sure. Thats if you can get it on long enough to download (simple) and install (simple) and then run it (even easier).
