finally! I figured it out. For some reason it was not creating a subfolder for all the supporting files for the entire page. So after going through all the properites and settings in publisher i see that the square is unchecked. so after checking that and resaving/publshing it created a subfolder of "test_files". So ftp'd it to the server and refreshed my browser and BAM! Wow I am sure that this elementary for you guys but I dont do any thing like this normally. my days are filled with designing high end high tech surveillance & security systems. man what a load of my back.
