I am not seeing anything malicious in his log and that even though you uninstalled Norton 2006, I can clearly see Norton entries in your HJT log.
Youruninstalls are not being completed as I can still see Norton active in his HijackThis log.

You must go to this site and use the uninstall tool,
reboot and reinstall Norton 2006.

If you were successful in installing Norton, please run the below on-line Panda scan.

If you could not install Norton:

Here are some very good free Antivirus products which are available:

Avast!

AVG

Please install one of these and then run panda.

ON-LINE SCANS

Perform an online scan with Internet Explorer with Panda ActiveScan

Click on located at the bottom of the page.
A "pop up" window will appear. * Please ensure that your pop up blocker doesn't block it *
Enter your e-mail address, country, and state & click "Free Online Scan" * The download of the 8 MB Panda's ActiveX control will take place *

Begin the scan by selecting

If it finds any malware, it will offer you a report.
Please ignore any entry it finds and the offer to buy the program to remove the entry, as we will address this later.
Click on then click

* You needn't remain online while it's doing the scan but you have to re-connect after it has finished to see the report.
* Turn off the real time scanner of any existing antivirus program while performing the online scan

Create an uninstall list:

Open HiJackThis
Click on the configure button on the bottom right
Click on the tab "Misc Tools"
Click on the Box that says "Open Uninstall Manager"
Click on the button "Save list"
Copy and past the List from the notepad file into your post

Please return and post these items:

Panda scan
Uninstall list
A new HJT log run in Normal Mode

Please note: In order to properly see what is on your system, all HJT logs must be run in the normal mode
